The slider defaults to this average. Your actual tariff may differ — contact your energy retailer for your current rate.

What this calculator does not include: vehicle depreciation; stamp duty and government charges; charging infrastructure installation costs (e.g. home EV charger); government EV incentives, rebates or stamp duty exemptions (which may reduce EV purchase costs — check your state government's current offers); public charging session fees beyond the effective rate slider; tyre wear differences; or any costs specific to a particular vehicle model.
